TJ sent us a description of his monster backpack:

This is made from Cordura 500/1000 with a capacity of 100 l+.

It's my own design all the way. Actually I don't think there are any intructions available for packs like this. The only instructions I've seen are for smaller and simpler packs. Making packs is really a lot of fun. I usually spend a lot of time designing the pack "in my head" before i even put it down on paper. This is the part that's the most fun. The actual sewing is just a lot of hard work.

Zebulah>> I usually use material from a 15mm evacote sleeping pad combined with 20mm soft open cell foam. The fabric is mostly cordura. 500d for the outside and 1000d for the inside(towards the body). Sometimes I've used toughtec for maximum friction. The downside with toughtec is the price.
