Technical outdoor gear requires maintenance to ensure long life and performance. Dirt is one major reason for early failure of fabrics and accessories. We carry Nikwax brand washing and waterproofing products to give maximum performance.

When washing Merino wool or other wool or silk qualities washing away fabrics natural oils should be avoided as they provide many of the fabrics great features. Sonett washing liquid maintains natural oils in the fabric and if they have been worn away in use then the Sonett Wool care is the answer. Don't throw away a good wool garment if it feels a bit hard and dry, use wool care.

Adhesive patches, repair tapes and Sewfree bonding film etc. are also very useful for maintaining outdoor products in use.
